About Crystalline Knowledge Tarot

I​'m Nikki, the person behind Crystalline Knowledge Tarot. My tarot practice is all about unlocking the power of tarot as a tool for wisdom, knowledge, self-development, and collective liberation.

I can remember feeling drawn to ancient myths and archetypes, the stars, and learning from voices that have been historically marginalized or silenced in "official" accounts of history since childhood. You could find me checking out books on witches, gods and goddesses, or the planets from my elementary school library, rewatching The Craft, or creating posters for my locker for various social causes.

There was a time, during my education, that I distanced myself from tarot, magic, or all things mystical (yes, even in Boulder, Colorado where I did my graduate studies!). I felt the pressure to be a "serious academic"and fell prey to the false dichotomy between art and science, the mystical and the measurable. Now, I integrate my knowledge of the tarot with my academic and professional background to offer a perspective on the tarot informed by tradition, research, and intuitive insight. 

As a reader, I bring my academic training as a sociologist and commitment to feminism and social justice to my practice. I want to help clients and seekers explore the ways in which the cards can illuminate the patterns and structures that shape our lives as individuals and our collective experiences. I utilize my background as an educator to provide clear, insightful readings that empower people to learn the tarot and integrate the insights it brings. 

I have a deep respect for the diversity of tarot traditions and tarot journeys people are on. I honor the traditional practice and interpretation of tarot, while seeking insights from clients on how the cards speak to them. I have an unwavering commitment to provide my clients with the highest quality readings and I want to be your source for all things tarot.
